Bullying Across the Lifetime Spectrum: K–12, University, Adulthood, Elderly

Violence and Gender is seeking high quality research on the topic of bullying to publish in the spring 2018 issue. The journal is especially interested in studies that examine bullying in various age groups as well as manuscripts on how bullying can escalate to further violence.

The journal will consider Research Articles, Reviews, Perspectives, and Commentaries on the on the following topics:

  • How bullying leads to violence
  • Workplace violence
  • The role of bullying in universities and K-12 school settings
  • Microaggressions
  • Bullying as used by influential persons of certain academic, political, or social groups and the effects
  • Bullying and social media
  • Impact of climate on bullying/violence and vice versa
  • Genesis of bullying
  • Parental bullying and copycat behavior
