Editor-in-Chief Patricia A. Broderick, PhD, plans to publish a special section dedicated to Caffeine and Depressive Disorders. Journal of Caffeine Research seeks high-quality, primary research for the topics listed below. All accepted papers will be published rapidly online ahead of print.

  • Human and animal models for general anxiety, dysthymia, depression; schizoaffective disorders, including schizophrenia; and more
  • Treatment strategies for depression, anxiety, or manic-depressive disorders, including bipolar disease
  • Novel surgical methods for depressive disorders, including depression associated with epilepsy
