Manuscript Submission guidelines

Each publication has a separate and specific set of guidelines for submitting and publishing papers. To access these specific guidelines, navigate to the appropriate Journal, and click on the "For Authors" button located on the top right of the page below the Search tool.

Our Policies

NIH Public Access Policy

In order to assist our authors who have NIH funding to comply with this policy, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. publishers will deposit the final accepted paper to PubMed Central (PMC) on behalf of the authors. Authors need not take any action. The manuscript's public access posting on PMC will occur 12 months after final publication. Please note that authors may not deposit manuscripts directly to PMC or other sites without permission from Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.

Liebert Open Option

Authors who would like their papers to be posted on Liebertpub.com immediately without this embargo period will have the option to make their articles available free on line via Liebert Open Option for a one-time fee of $3,200. This fee also makes the article free in perpetuity on the Liebertpub.com site. If you've received NIH funding we will also immediately deposit your paper to PMC.

HHMI and Wellcome Trust

Authors Funded by HHMI and Wellcome Trust should follow the instructions for Liebert Open Option above.

Open Access

Self-Archiving
