Overview

Human Gene Therapy and HGT Methods: 18 Issues
Print ISSN: 1043-0342    Online ISSN: 1557-7422

Human Gene Therapy is the premier, multidisciplinary journal covering all aspects of gene therapy. The Journal publishes in-depth coverage of DNA, RNA, and cell therapies by delivering the latest breakthroughs in research and technologies. Human Gene Therapy provides a central forum for scientific and clinical information, including ethical, legal, regulatory, social, and commercial issues, which enables the advancement and progress of therapeutic procedures leading to improved patient outcomes, and ultimately, to curing diseases.

The Journal has expanded into two parts. Human Gene Therapy, the flagship, is published 12 times per year. HGT Methods, a bimonthly journal, focuses on the applications of gene therapy to product testing and developments. Subscribers have the option of subscribing to both Human Gene Therapy and HGT Methods, or HGT Methods can be ordered separately for those interested exclusively in methods technologies.

Human Gene Therapy and HGT Methods coverage includes:

  • Improvements in vector developments
  • Delivery systems
  • Cell therapy
  • Small nucleic acid therapeutics, including RNAi
  • Clinical trials and animal models

Human Gene Therapy was voted one of the most influential journals in Biology and Medicine over the last 100 years by the Biomedical & Life Sciences Division of the Special Libraries Association.

Human Gene Therapy and HGT Methods, are under the editorial leadership of Editor-in-Chief James M. Wilson, MD, PhD, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Gene Therapy Program, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; Deputy Editor George Dickson, Institute of Biomedical & Life Sciences, School of Biological Sciences, University of London; Methods Editor Thierry VandenDriessche, PhD, Free University of Brussels (VUB); and other leading investigators.
