Kathryn W. Miree

Kathryn W. Miree & Associates, Inc.

Kathryn W. Miree is president of Kathryn W. Miree & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm that works with nonprofits to develop and implement planned giving programs.

Previously, she was managing director of Sterne, Agee & Leach in Birmingham, Alabama where she was responsible for the Trust and Asset Management Groups. Prior to that time she was senior vice president and trust officer for AmSouth Bank where she served as the manager of the personal trust department in the Trust Division.

She is an attorney (University of Alabama School of Law, 1978), was the 1993 president of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham and the 1994 president of the Alabama Bankers' Association Trust Division. She is the founding president of the Alabama Planned Giving Council and a past president of the National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG).
